![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Even if it had been floating when last closed it should return as docked when next summoned, There's no reason for it to 'block' any text When the Pane does display it always should be in a docked position on the right side of the document window.Shift+Command+Option+s (unless you've assigned a custom keystroke), & AFAICT there is no 'trigger' to display the Styles Pane other than by clicking the Styles Pane button on the Home tab of the Ribbon or use of the built-in keyboard shortcut. ![]() Word is a Styles-based program, so that would be a rather counterproductive step :-) However, there are 2 considerations: There is no means of disabling the Styles Pane altogether. ![]()
